The federal Immigrant Children grant that the Dover School District has been fortunate enough to receive this year funded a recent trip to the Seacoast African American Cultural Center (SAACC) to see their new exhibit, "Being Black: An Immigrant's Experience". We were able to meet the artist and the photographer and had a meaningful conversation about their collaboration as well as what it's like to be an immigrant, or from an immigrant family, in America. It was a great day celebrating the differences and the similarities that make our community beautiful!
